PSSI chairman 2011-2015, Djohar Arifin Husein, said the main focus right now is preparation for U-23 National Team that will compete in the SEA Games in Palembang and Jakarta, November. Djohar even said that the SEA Games will receive special treatment from his side.
"The SEA Games are a special treatment from us. Public interest and won the gold. It can not be four SEA Games gold. This we are after as a host," said Djohar told reporters in the press room Hotel Sunan, Saturday, July 9, 2011.
"We also ask all players under the age of 23 can enter. No club was allowed to enter, as long as he is good. No politics," he continued.
While the Vice Chairman of the PSSI 2011-2015, Farid Rahman, assess a lot of talent that can be taken to be a pillar of national team. Eastern Region, he said, is a great place to find qualified talent.
"In Papua, and Ambon were many good ones, for example Boaz Solossa. It means the west is not good. But we must be evenly distributed. Not only have the central role in the development, should also be focused in the area," said Farid.
